About Us

Alpha Delta Pi History

We are proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. Our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Southeast Missouri State University’s Delta Nu chapter was founded in 1959. Our collegiate chapter has been recognized three times by our Executive Office with the coveted Golden Lion Award.

Our Alumnae Association

Welcome to the Delta Nu Alumnae Association of Alpha Delta Pi. Our association offers sisters from “coast to coast” the opportunity to reconnect with each other while making a difference in the region surrounding our alma mater, Southeast Missouri State University.  Our association is designed to share the gift of sisterhood beyond college and throughout all stages of life.  Our association strives to provide an atmosphere where friendships are nutured, service to the community is valued; and personal growth is encouraged.
